CAMP RULES

  1. Every camper is expected to follow the schedule and to be on time. Every camper is expected to be in his or her own assigned cabin between 10:45PM and 7AM. Noguys in gals’ rooms or gals in guys’ room are permitted at any time.
  2. For your safety and others’ sakes, do not leave the camp area by yourself or with anyone else, except with permission from the camp superintendents. From arrival to departure, campers may not drive even their own car except with permission from the camp superintendents. Please just park your car if you drive to the camp.
  3. Campers must attend all classes and scheduled meetings, except with the permission of the camp superintendents.
  4. Please, no roughhousing or rough play. Please take care of the camp physical resources. These are God’s, and people have sacrificed to obtain and keep in service these things. Please clean your feet before you enter buildings. Keep walls and carpet in original condition. Clean up after yourself.
  5. No music player, video player, radio, TV, computer, video game or other such devices should be used or even cometo camp.Phone use should be restricted to talking with parents or people providing rides. Misused phones and devices will be confiscated. The camp does not provide long distance phone service; use a phone card or collect call. Cell phones might work on higher ground at the camp.E-mail will not be available to campers during the camp.
  6. Please, dress modestly to glorify our Lord and to avoid unnecessary temptations. Guys’ shorts must reach the knee.Girls’ capris, pants, or skirts must cover the knee. Tank tops and spaghetti straps are not allowed. Midsection and cleavage are not to be exposed. Flip-flops are not allowed in class for guys or girls. No earrings or piercing are allowed for guys. Guy’s hair should not touch the shirt collar and should not cover his ears. Permitted swimwear for guys are boxer-style knee-length swimming trunks; for girls, one-piece swimwear only. Swimwear will be checked before boating and MUST be appropriate.
  7. Campers may not swim or boat unless as a scheduled group activity.
  8. Your group leaders have invested an enormous amount of time and have made sacrifices for your sake and because of their love for God. Please make their job a joy. Submit to the camp counselors as they lead this camp.
  9. Please be faithful, timely, and thorough in all your assigned duties such as dish washing and cleaning.

Pastor Steve Tan – Youth minister in Emmanuel Chinese Baptist Church, Lenexa, Kansas.
Pastor Barry Edwards – Mathematics teacher at Warsaw High School for 25 years. Currently he is the pastor of Cedar Grove Baptist Church at Warsaw..
Pastor Jason McCray –Calvary Bible College graduated. Currently pastor of Warsaw (MO) Bible Church.
Dr. Elwood Chipchase -served as President of Calvary Bible College and Calvary Theological Seminary located in Kansas City MO from 1999-2009.
Purpose: / Build future youth leaders, and transform them to be disciples of Christ. For believers12 years old or entering 7th grade after summer, to college age.

Christian Witness Center Youth Discipleship Training Camp Rafting Trip
