Report

Congratulations to all who turned out on a wet day. The racers achieved remarkably fast times in exceptionally muddy slippery conditions, but my aim is to encourage folk to enjoy doing things outdoors, so those who went round the beautiful course at a more leisurely pace and finished with a smile, are equally welcome.

Many thanks to an excellent group of helpers:-

Edel, who worked for hours sawing fallen trees and clearing brambles.

Stewards: Val, Mark, Patrick, and Martin.

Ian Thompson – Timekeeper first class.

International smile and muddy patch judges: Jamie and Lucy.

Stewart who covered for all my mistakes.
