School Qualifiers Fair Play

SCHOOL QUALIFIERS FAIR PLAY

• SAFE – when playing a shot all other players must ensure they are a minimum of 3 large paces away form the person that is hitting. Once all players have hit from the tee (the start point on each hole), the team furthest away from the flag will play first and all players will stand a minimum of 3 large paces away. This process continues until teams have completed the hole and move onto the next hole.

• SENSIBLE – each team works together and cooperates with each other and their playing partners to play each hole.

• FAIR – respect, cooperation, collaboration, perseverance, and honesty will be promoted to the children.

• RECOGNITION - certificates will be presented to all children who take part, as well as opportunities for further playing and coaching sessions at Rookwood Golf Course, Slinfold Golf & Country Club, Horsham Golf & Fitness or Foxbridge Golf Club.

• INCLUSION – the format allows for disabled children to play alongside non-disabled children. Extra support and adaptations of equipment will be allowed to assist disabled children to participate.

FINALS DAY FAIR PLAY

• The team with the lowest score will be awarded with the Fairways to Horsham Cup and participation certificates will be presented to children who take part, as well as opportunities for further playing and coaching sessions at Rookwood Golf Course, Slinfold Golf & Country Club, Horsham Golf & Fitness or Foxbridge Golf Club.
