The School Organizational Team may take items on the agenda out of order; may combine two or more agenda items for consideration; and may remove an item from the agenda or delay discussion relating to items on the agenda at any time.
Speakers wishing to speak during the public comment period for this meeting may call Sandy Mundell at 702-799-5766 x4000, or sign up in person immediately prior to the beginning of the meeting. Speakers will be called in the order in which they signed up. No one may sign up for another person or yield their time to another person. Generally, a person wishing to speak during the comment period will be allowed one (1) minute to address the School Organizational Team. Speakers may also submit additional comments in writing.
It is asked that speakers be respectful to each other, Team members, the principal and school district staff. Speakers that are disruptive will be asked to leave the meeting.

3.  NEW ITEMS

3.1  Hiring update – Donna Levy-

3.1.1  At this time, we have a Senior level fashion program opening. Our current remaining teacher has a line on a qualified candidate and is working with her on licensing.

3.1.2  Dean Donna Besser was promoted to Assistant Principal.

3.2  Master Schedule –

3.2.1  Trish Taylor is feverishly working to complete this schedule before the end of this contract year.

3.2.2  New this year, CSN Jumpstart courses offered in English, Math, Chemistry, Music, and Psychology

3.3  Graduation –

3.3.1  Practice is scheduled for Friday, June 8, 2017, @7:30 am.

3.3.2  Graduation ceremony is Tuesday, June 13, 2017, @ 9:00 am, at the Orleans Arena.

3.3.3  Caps and gowns will be given out at practice.

3.3.4  Each Senior receives 20 tickets. The school does not retain any additional tickets. If you need additional tickets students must work with each other.

3.3.5  If you are a SOT member and would like one ticket to graduation, please email Donna.

3.4  Agenda Planning: - Items for Future Agendas

3.4.1  Please send any information for the September Agenda to Suzanne Gonzalez.

4.  ADMINISTRATIVE UPDATE

4.1  The admin team at SWCTA all work 11 month contracts. They check email and text messages should you require their assistance.

4.2  The principal and both assistant principals return on July 26, 2017. The SWCTA dean returns on August 1, 2017.
