SCHENGEN VISA application for Business/Conference/Training
Applicant to be present in person with this checklist (with checkboxes ticked) and all the following required basic documents (in the order of the checklist):
Schengen visa application form properly completed, signed and dated.A recent passport-sized photo (3,5cm x 4,5cm) in color with a white background.
Original Passport with at least 2 empty pages (+1 copy of bio-data pages and copy of previous Schengen visas if applicable). It should be issued less than 10 years ago and valid for at least 3 months after the intended stay in the Schengen states.
Original Singapore resident permit (+1 copy)
Employment pass / Work permit / Permanent Resident card (+ print out copy of RE-ENTRY permit) / Student Pass...Valid for at least 3 months after the intended stay in the Schengen states.
+ Original Seaman book (+1 copy) for seaman joining vessel.
Original recent attestation from Employer / School/University in Singapore
Stating applicant’s current position, employment date, travel period, purpose of visit in Belgium,…
For self-employed, a recent print out copy of ACRA Business profile (Biz-file).
Original official business invitation letter from a company in Belgium, including the dates of the meeting/conference/training.
If attending a conference, a letter from the event organizer in Belgium confirming your participation (or payment receipt of registration).
Original Flight reservation/booking to Belgium (+ 1 copy) with confirmed traveling dates. When also travelling to other Schengen states, include FULL itinerary and confirmed bookings.
Original Proof of accommodation (+1 copy)
A confirmed hotel reservation or other confirmed accommodation with address and booking dates for Belgium. When also travelling to other Schengen states, include FULL itinerary and confirmed bookings.
Original Travel insurance (+1 copy) from local travel agents or websites of insurance companies covering all risks and costs (incl. medical + repatriation) incurred in the Schengen area for at least 30,000 € (or its equivalent).
Or employment letter stating that you are covered under the group travel insurance of your company.
Financial means: original bank statements and salary slips both of the last 3 months (+1 copy)
Or employment letter stating that employer takes full responsibility for all expenses incurred while in Belgium.
Visa fee: 96 SGD cash only (not refundable and subject to change)
Applications will only be eligible for processing when submitted file is complete.
Accompanying family members need to submit a separate and complete file +
