Ride Details

These rides are in addition to the usual CBC Saturday morning road rides.

Where to meet: The Oak Pub, Martin Hills Lane, Burton.

What Time: Meet from 08:15 with the ride starting at 08:30 sharp.

The bike you need: Either a mountain bike or hybrid bike running on robust wheels and (28mm+) trekking tyres (eg. cyclocross tyres).

Distance: Each ride will be between 25 and 30 miles long (*hybrid bike specific rides are shorter at less than 25 miles) and include one coffee stop.

Route changes and cancellations: All routes are weather dependent and where extreme weather conditions are forecast it may be necessary to change the route or cancel the ride at short notice. Route changes will be dealt with on the day by the ride leader.

In the event of a cancellation a notice will be posted on the CBC Facebook group page by no later than 07:00 on the day of the ride. For those club members who regularly join the off road rides an email notifying a ride cancellation will be sent out by 07:00 on the day of the ride.
