1.  Please provide a brief explanation outlining why you wish to establish a sister school relationship with a school in Victoria:

Our desire is to form a partnership with an Australian School in which the Australian National Curriculum is taught as well as Indonesian Bahasa Language

2.  What does your school hope to achieve from a sister school relationship?

We hope to communicate with teachers and students regarding aspects of the language, intercultural awareness and hopefully share resources

3.  What activities does your school propose to undertake to implement the program?

Students: Technology makes this easier than the past sharing Skype exchanges, email contacts, possible joint projects and assessments. We need it to be authentic and challenging for the students and teachers

4.  What financial and other resources is the school prepared to commit to this program?

We are a small independent school with limited financial expenditure for school sponsored exchanges, however, providing access to computers and technology would be fine. Newsletters, websites, cultural events, videos etc.

5.  How do you anticipate the program will be sustained by the school?

Our commitment is 100%. We also are looking at forming a partnership with a local school near our location to “give back” to the local community. We plan to possibly look at our curriculum and write in where we plan to use the sister-school relationships. Build it into our curriculum and strategic plan

6.  How does your school intend to evaluate the effectiveness and benefits of the program to the school?

Through a record of joint activities, communications with the schools, our curriculum, surveys and participation of both teachers and students
