Principal’s Note

The holiday season is always a good time to reflect on the things we are thankful for in our lives. I am thankful we have a school community that cares for all children. The old adage, "it takes a community to raise a child," is very true. We work together toeducate our children in Jones County, knowing that the home-school connection is critical in order to helpthem become successful.
I am thankful for the relationships webuild in life. By making connections with our students at school, we find that children are more likely to succeed. They want to do well when they know they are loved and supported. This is true with all relationships....our own children, co-workers, peers. We all want to know others care about us. Children are no different.
Let us take this holiday season to let others know we care and that we are thankful for them. I am thankful to each of you for being a part of theGray Elementary.
