Santa Clara Valley Carvers

All California Interclub Competition – June 6-7, 2009

In 1999 Santa Clara Valley Carvers introduced the All California Interclub Competition. The purpose of the competition was to encourage carvers who were hesitant to display or compete with their carvings a chance to participate through their clubs. Since the first event, there have been many carvers who have participated in the show that normally wouldn’t have without the support of their clubs. This will be our 10th year hosting the competition and we hope that you will join us this year. Please register your club and representatives by sending the “Interclub Entry Form to Dean Aspinwall.

This year’s show will be held June 6 – 7, 2009 at a new location on Saratoga Road, Saratoga, CA.

Club Display Tables

Each registered club will receive one free display table. We ask that the club display a variety of carvings that represent the many types of artistry from different carvers in your club. Additional tables are available for $12 each if your club needs more than one table. We ask that this be a “Club” showing, not just the work of one or two carvers. We encourage the clubs to advertise their club activities, meeting location, time of meeting and other pertinent information. We recommend that all tables be covered with the appropriate table cloths.
