The Sales Supervisor is one of two posts working with the Sales Manager to run the busy Ticket Sales Office, ensuring that all counter, telephone and web sales are managed efficiently and with a high level of customer satisfaction ______

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales / Supervising
  • Customer Service
  • Communications

These responsibilities involve a number of key activities as outlined below:

Sales

  • To sell tickets for productions and other events taking place across Wiltshire Creative’s sites
  • To sell tickets for external events where Wiltshire Creative is the ticket agent
  • To sell other items as required. e.g. memberships, programmes, gift vouchers
  • To be aware of sales targets and current upselling initiatives
  • To follow correct cashing up and reconciliation procedures at the end of a shift

Supervising

  • To open and close the Ticket Sales Office
  • To complete daily banking and reconciliation (liaising with the Finance dept)
  • Day-to-day supervision of the Sales Team
  • Extracting reports from the Spektrix ticketing system to circulate internally and to external producers
  • Assisting the Sales Manager with setting up events on the ticketing system
  • Attending staff, operational and other meetings as appropriate
  • Being aware of the disability and access requirements of audiences and the appropriate services the organisation offers
  • Acting on behalf of the Sales Manager to satisfactorily resolve any customer complaints that may arise

Customer Service

  • To provide a polite and efficient service to all customers of Wiltshire Creative
  • To develop an understanding of our work, audiences and local area to better inform customers
  • To attend plays early in the run so that they can be effectively promoted to audiences

Communications

  • As part of the Communications & Sales team you may be asked to ensure publicity is kept up to date and tidy in the foyer
  • You may be asked to contribute to various marketing initiatives such as pro-active groups activity, keeping the database and website up to date and assisting with mailings.

GENERAL

  • To always act in the best interests of Wiltshire Creative

  • Clean and tidy presentation (uniform elements will be provided)
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • Salary:£9.34 per hour
  • Hours:24 hours per week (Monday to Saturday 10am – 8pm) on a rota

basis

  • Holiday:20 days holiday pro rata plus 8 days public holidays, rising in

line with length of employment.

  • Term:Part time permanent contract
  • Pension:Wiltshire Creative offers a group personal pension whereby

contributions can be deducted from salary if requested and is

currently matched by Wiltshire Creative up to 2% of salary rising in line with auto-enrolment regulations.

Wiltshire Creative is legally obliged to auto enrol all eligible employees into this scheme after three months’ employment, although the employee has the right to ‘opt out’.
