FACE FORWARD CONTRACT AND PARTNERSHIP MANAGER (BUILDING BETTER OPPORTUNITIES) based out of Central Poole

Fixed Term April 2017 to December 2019

Salary £38,463.00 pa - 35 HOURS PER WEEK

Face Forward is an exciting new project in Dorset to build on the abilities of Young People aged 15 to 24 years and engage the very hardest to reach. We aim to build their confidence and support them to improve theiropportunities to engage in learning, work and other positive activities. Ansbury isworking in partnership with local agencies, and voluntary and community sector delivery partners.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager to:

  • Lead the Face Forward project team ensuring excellent outcomes are delivered, both economic and social to maximize the Building Better Opportunities (BBO) grant for the benefit of young adults across Bournemouth, Dorset and Poole.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with partners and ongoing partnership working.
  • Chair the project Partnership Advisory Committee and be its representative on the Strategic Management Board
  • Work within the ESF compliance and quality framework to set, evaluate and report against targets and standards of deliver across the delivery partnership.
  • Ensure high and consistent standard of reporting of the Face Forward model to ESF and across the partnership.
  • Performance manage and support Face Forward Advisers and other members of Ansbury Guidance Face Forward staff as required.
  • Ensure the project addresses the two BBO cross-cutting themes of Sustainable Development and Gender Equality & Equal Opportunities

Extensive travel across Dorset is an essential part of this role.

Successful candidates must:

  • Hold or be working towards a level 5 qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • Have a proven track record for leading and managing a team
  • Be able to demonstrate effective networking and partnership working experience
  • Demonstrate the successful coordination of a similar project (Experience of managing ESF or Big Lottery funded projects would be advantageous)
  • Understand the local labour market and awareness of the agencies and voluntary sector organisations working with young people across Dorset
  • Demonstrate excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills at all levels
  • Undertake a DBS disclosure check at enhanced level.
