Students MUST provide a binder which can be left in the classroom for the entire semester. This binder will hold your daily class work and assignments which will be completed during class time, however at times there may be some homework!

Expectations:

  • If you have not handed in an assessment and it has already been handed back to the class, you will no longer be able to pass in that assessment for grading. You will be granted one week to complete that assessment (or one similar) during a designated lunch hour for grading.
  • Doing your work graded or otherwise, in a thoughtful and conscientious way is of critical importance; the manner in which you do your daily work sets the tone and builds the habits that you carry over into assessment.
  • Make sure you show all your work on tests and assignments, so that if your answer is wrong, you are able to gain partial credit for your work granted a valid method has been used, this is particularly important to keep in mind when using a calculator.
  • Extra-help outside of class is available (tentatively scheduled for lunch hour on Mondays and Wednesdays).

Respect for Self:

  • Be on time and be prepared with expected materials.
  • Always do your best!

Respect for Others:

  • Respect the ideas and opinions offered by your classmates.

Respect for Environment:

  • Ensure that your area of the classroom is neat and tidy.

Respect for Learning:

  • Complete all assigned work on time and ASK ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS that you may have.
  • If you miss a class, it is your responsibility to catch up on what you missed.
  • Check the website for information before you come to class.
  • Ask me or one of your classmates for any other notes/assignments.
