OFFICIAL RULES as established by the administrator of the raffle, SADDLEABACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION.

1. Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle DATES

a. Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle will begin on Saturday, April 12, 2014at 7:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time (PST) and will run through Sunday, May 25, 2014 at 9:00 pm PST. The drawing will be held during the KSBR Bash, at the Village Green at Oso Viejo Park in Mission Viejo in Mission Viejo, CA on Sunday, May 25.

2. ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

a. Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle is open to legal residents of the 50 United States that are 18 years of age or older. Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void outside the United States and where prohibited.

3. ENTRY

a. To participate in Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle a raffle ticket needs to be purchased either in person, by mail, or by telephone. Tickets cannot legally be sold online. Tickets are $20.00 each. There is no limit to the number of tickets a person may purchase.

b. Tickets can be purchased in person at the following locations and during the following times:

• Saddleback College Foundation Gala, 7:00 p.m. at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott Resort and Spa in the located at 25135 Park Lantern, Dana Point, CA.
• On campus, 28000 Marguerite Parkway, Mission Viejo, CA

April 14-17 and 21-24 from 9:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. in the quad

April 14 through May 23 Foundation Office AGB 131 Monday through Friday from 8:30 through 5:00. Please note office closes occasionally for meetings.

c. Cost of ticket is not tax deductible as individual is purchasing the chance to win the car. Proceeds from the raffle will be used to support Saddleback College.

4. PRIZE

a. Two one year leases on an Audi A3. Prize winner will receive a one year lease on a 2014 Audi A3. After 12 (twelve) months winner will trade in the car for a 2015 Audi A3.

b. Prize includes up to 15,000 miles per year. Should mileage exceed this amount, the winner may be responsible for paying any additional fees.

c. THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION will include a $1,500 cash prize to help offset the cost of taxes incurred by the winner.

5. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION

a. All decisions by the Saddleback College Foundation are final.

b. Potential qualifying prize winner will be determined by random drawing from paper raffle tickets sold.

c. The person with the winning ticket must show proof of auto insurance.

d. Odds of winning depend upon the number of tickets sold.

e. Potential winner need not be present. Potential winner must claim their prize within fourteen (14) days of notification or the prize will be forfeited and a new potential winner will be drawn. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to complete, sign and return the required affidavit of eligibility and liability/publicity release within the required time period, or if a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner forfeits prize.

f. Potential winners will be notified by telephone and U.S. Mail. Prize winner must claim the prize within fourteen (14) days of notification or the prize may be forfeited. A new drawing will be held within 48 hours after the fourteen(14) days notification period as expired.

6. CONDITIONS

a. Payments of all federal, state and local taxes are solely the responsibility of the winner. Winner will be required to complete and submit an IRS Form W-9 with the winner’s full Social Security Number or the equivalent for receipt of the Prize. Failure to submit a complete W-9 or equivalent will result in forfeiture of the prize. Foundation will award a cash prize of $1,500 to the winner to help offset these costs.

b. The lease may be transferred to another individual so long as that person has proof of insurance.

c. By participating in Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle, the winner agrees to have their name, city, state, voice, or likeness used in any advertising, social media or broadcasting material relating to this Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. Where legal, winners also agree to provide the Saddleback College Foundation or any of the participating sponsors with an interview, which may be used in connection with the Raffle.

d. Prior to awarding any prize, the Saddleback College Foundation in its sole discretion will require verification of winner’s identification by a showing of valid government-issued photo identification. The Saddleback College Foundation will also require Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle winner to sign a liability release, agreeing to hold Saddleback College Foundation and any of the participating sponsors or their officers, shareholders, directors, employees, agents and representatives of each of them (collectively, the “Released Parties”) harmless against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle.

e. THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person (and all of their entries) from this Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle if he or she tampers with the entry process or the operation of any sponsor or is otherwise in violation of the rules.

f. The SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to reject a sale of a ticket and to disqualify any person or person who the Saddleback College Foundation believes is tampering with the entry process in any way, including but not limited to attempts to photo copying a ticket in order to increase the odds of winning, writing an uncollectable check, (NSF, Account Closed, return to maker) or any other activity designed to affect the entry process or who is otherwise in violation of the rules or of any applicable law or regulation.

g. THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION further reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle if it is not capable of completion as planned or if any fraud, technical failures or any factor beyond Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle as determined by THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION in its sole discretion. Any attempt by an entrant or any person to deliberately damage THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION website or to undermine the legitimate operation of this Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION reserves the right to seek full prosecution and/or damages from any such individual to the fullest extent permitted by law.

h. THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION’S failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision. If due to circumstances beyond the control of THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION, any segment of Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or cancelled, THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION reserves the right, but not the obligation, to modify, suspend or cancel Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle and shall not be required to award a substitute prize.

i. Contestants understand, acknowledge and agree that THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION shall not be liable for losses or injuries of any kind resulting from the rejection of an entry given THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION’S belief that the contestant was abusing or tampering with Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle entry process in any manner or due to any technical malfunction of the telephone network/transmission line or any entries that are late, delayed, garbled, incomplete, misdirected, lost, corrupted or otherwise not in compliance with the rules or applicable law.

j. The Released Parties are not responsible for (i) typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle, or in the announcement of a prize; (ii) entries not received due to lost, stolen, mangled, misdelivered, postage due, illegible, incomplete, incorrect, or late entries.

k. Failure to comply with Saddleback College Foundation Audi A3 Raffle rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification solely at the discretion of THE SADDLEBACK COLLEGE FOUNDATION.
