Subject: Internet sites of interest regarding magnetic near-field communications

Hi Mark,

I'm glad to report that I am once again stateside again. At least here in the states like most of the EU and Australia, wireless Internet access isn't like pulling teeth to detect and establish reliable Internet connections.

I like most people am aware that SETI is based upon detecting RF (radio frequency) -- the electrical component in the micro- and milli-meter wave part of the RF spectrum. Unfortunately, RF is limited by its characteristics to propagate near the speed of light. RF is linear, planar type of waves which travel and propagate through free space and as such must sure come to multi-path characteristics, wave reflection, etc. The RF signal will also degrade with an inverse of the distance squared (aka degradation), making it an unlikely candidate for long or extremely long-range communications.

Although unlike RF (radio frequency), there is a somewhat new arrival for consumers called Near-Field Magnetic Induction communications. This form of wireless communications is presently being used as an alternative to blue-tooth for Personal Area Network (PAN) communications and close range headset usage in addition to underground wireless communications. Since the NerF Magi (Near-field Magnetic Induction) field literally permeates the space within its field, its use in underground facilities, caves, etc. is very efficient and effective for its intended purpose.

What makes Magnetic Induction Near-Field communications different than the typical RF wireless is its unique field characteristics. See websites below for more info. One thing you may notice upon reviewing the two websites below is the field characteristics is described as a "bubble".

Based on the websites above, most people would normally be under the impression this form of wireless communications is limited in range in all respects although the website below Vital Alert is also based on the same basic technology.

Through Earth Communications:

It is interesting to note that the operating field bubble of the Magnetic Induction Near-Field effect is proportional to the frequency or frequencies used by the transmitter. Because the field is proportional to its operating frequency (which equates to the size of the field bubble), companies such as Vital Alert take advantage by simple lowering the operating frequency used.

Using VLF, very low frequencies or lower magnetic frequencies do not come without its own challenges. There is an inverse relationship between frequency and available bandwidth. The general rule states as the frequency increases, so to does the available bandwidth. The problem quickly becomes as the operating frequency decreases, so too does the bandwidth available -- making it near impossible to have sufficient bandwidth to become meaningful. But due to some very creative digital compression algorithms and modulations, it is possible to transmit voice on VLF as the company Vital Alert has demonstrated.

Magnetic Induction Near-Field communications occupy the space of its operational bubble instead of traveling in free space as the linear, planar radio waves do. RF radio waves are dependent upon the electrical component of its waves traveling through free space. While Magnetic Induction Near-Field occupies the free space within its bubble of influence and in the process no stay magnetic radiation is radiated outward beyond its bubble.

It is interesting to note that from our frame of reference, it is possible to exceed the speed-of-light based on a bodies rotational qualities. If a virtual field can be considered a body, this would bring in the various phase oriented modulations used by our present state of technology such as PSK, QPSK, 8PSK, OFDM, etc. PSK; Phase Shift Keying, Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, etc.

About 15 years ago, myself and a few associates experimented with using RF HF, High Frequency, pilot-wave and embedding, enfolding a UHF (Ultra High Frequency) signal within that pilot HF signal with some amount of success. This implies that it is possible to embed extremely or tetra-hertz signals within VLF, ULF, etc. signals.

Below are some other websites of interest:

Hope all is going well for you and yours.

Best Regards,

Subject: so there's no such thing as a SOL limit?

As for the popular science magazines, they often get the science wrong in order to sell magazines. For example, there was a recent article claiming a black hole was produced with laser light. BS! At best, the article should have been titled "quasi-optical event horizon generated with the use of laser wakes".

General Relativity just explains differential geometry for the most part and no more invents SOL than does ordinary trigonometry. Only when conservation laws from regular science are applied do you get things approaching a SOL in GR. The key example that there is no real SOL limit in GR is inflation theory. Shortly after the Big Bang, the Universe is theorized to have expanded faster than light in order to explain the present size of the modern universe. If a real SOL existed in GR, you could not have an inflationary period in the early universe period.

I would also be careful about using quantum entanglement to get around the light barrier as it really doesn't do that either. While there are some entangled states that appear to show superluminal activity, no information is actually conveyed FTL. So in essence, there is a speed-of-light limit there, too.

Yes, essentially SR is a subset of GR. And that's why the SOL is more-or-less localized or at least favors SR descriptions of space-time. Take Kaku's "flatland" example. Flatlanders do not realize there is a third dimension to move into. So if they looked at a flat map of Earth, they would assume the shortest path is a straight line. However, since we know that the Earth is curved, you and I really know that the shortest path is really a slightly curved line.

In essence, SOL is well defined in flatland but gets rather ambiguous in higher dimensions. Ad that's pretty much why there exist a SOL loophole in GR while none exist at all for SR.

Hi Mark,

Even though most mainstream physicists are comfortable with the idea that consciousness is not a factor or variable when considering a Theory of Everything (TOE), I personally am not. That is another reason I have always been fascinated by those scientists and inventors of the late 1800s and early 1900s. They were the true explorers with a hands-on attitude in my opinion. At the present, most mainstream researchers and scientist are usually in the "conformists category". It's nice to know there are still researchers, theorists, and amateur experimenters out there pursuing what they feel intuitively in their hearts.

4 years ago while spending time in Vietnam, I with an associate visited several households in an effort to locate a person of interest. While I sat in the living room of one family waiting, there was a box with child's toys in it. I remember pulling out of the box some plastic concentric rings. The toy consisted of 3 plastic concentric rings within each other. I remember spinning the outer ring, then the other inner ring which was 90o offset from the outer ring.

Amazingly, when I achieved a certain spin velocity between the two rings, what I saw inside these spinning concentric rings was a blinking 3D cube!

I thought how interesting that effect was creating the illusion of straight lines forming the appearance of a cube. I also remember thinking many people who are spiritually-inclined saying everything is an illusion.

Just thought I would share that with you, Mark. Got to run now.

It appears that interest since then has shifted to the more mythical Type III ORMEs/Ormus stuff. Sooooo Kewl!

My research combined "Grey" & "Tall-White" Technology in such a way that I shortcut TtownsendBrown by decades, reducing consumption thus increasing yield non-exponentially. My particular approach is based on a simplified but modified Keely Atomic Model of Deuterium. When I stumbled upon 9 individual phenomenon that when aptly applied in the right order, they amplify the "Gravity A wave" and poof! Off you go into the wild blue yonder.

Completely recharging itself -- along with magnetic bottling effect -- unbelievable speeds without g-force inertia can be obtained. Similar to Grebennikov's Cavernous Structures effect. Only he got fried because of the terra-wave free-form cooper-pairs photons. Cooked his vascular system. His whole family who chose to participate in his wonderful adventures soon began to suffer from the same affects. He died of apoplexy, I believe in 2001. Pity he wasn't privy to Faraday Safety Clothing on the market at that time.

I wish to avoid this folly. This approach has endless applications as I am playing with Kaluza-Klein Forces of the 5th Dimensional Micro-Singularities. Kewl, huh?

Well, thanks for your hard work and dedication and all of the interesting links...

Hey Mark,

UNITEL was the guy (I think his name is Larry) developed the Blue-Diamond Coating ZiTi that would have given 10-ft of simulated leaded type shielding against heat & cosmic radiation. But old NAsAss chose to go with the cheap ceramic tile crap and you know what that sitrep brought about.
