Job Title: Court Monitors

Reports To:Court Leads, Assistant Manager, and General Manager

Summary: Oversees the safe operation of the jump courts while providing friendly responsive service to create an exceptional experience for the customers. Ensures that all company policies are being followed and that all jump areas are properly maintained to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Greets and assists customers entering the courts.*
  2. Explains jump areas and rules for each station.*
  3. Ensures that all jumpers have a valid wristband, proper footwear, and no loose jewelry.*
  4. Coordinates clearing the courts of jumpers whose wrist bands have expired.*
  5. Coordinates clearing the courts or surrounding area when there is an injury.*
  6. Ensures that all pads, nets, springs, and other safety items are installed and functioning properly.*
  7. Ensures that all jumpers are following rules.*
  8. Alerts jumpers of their expired time.*
  9. Cuts off expired wrist bands.*
  10. Assists jumpers or watchers with any questions.*
  11. Keeps jump areas clean.*
  12. Fluffs the foam pit as needed.*
  13. Reports problems with equipment to manager on duty.*
  14. Attends to any and all injured visitors within your designated area.*
  15. Fills out incident report forms as protocol calls for.*
  16. Reports any and all injuries to court supervisor and/or management who is responsible for backing up the footage on the video cameras and uploading to the incident report form when waiver is completed.*

  1. Responsible for promptly informing manager on duty of any and all customer complaints, comments, or discipline issues with jumpers.*

Language Ability:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to two year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates and Licenses:

CPR certification

  • Oral and written communication skills
