Rules & Regulations 2015

1.  Contestants must be a legal resident of the Lawrenceville Borough/Lawrence Township and must compete in appropriate age bracket, based on contestant’s chronological age on the day of the pageant.

2.  Contestant does not have to be a winner from another local pageant or have participated in other local pageant to compete in this pageant.

3.  Contestants must submit an Entry form no later than 5:30 p.m. September 18th, 2015 at the Lawrenceville Fire Department Or Pre-Register at Northwest Savings Bank in Lawrenceville. Entries will not be accepted after the deadline. Forms may be mailed/hand delivered to Northwest Savings Bank, PO Box 285, Lawrenceville PA 16929. If mailing forms to Northwest Savings Bank please allow plenty of time for forms to be received at Northwest Savings Bank by deadline. Committee is not liable for any forms that may be lost or delayed in transit by shipping method.

4.  Contestants are required to be on time for pageant and parade. We want to start on time for all age groups to allow a smooth and time efficient pageant. If you are unable to be on time please contact Arika Graham at 570-827-2121 immediately.

5.  Attire for pageant- Girls can be: pageant dress, flower girl style dress, formal/prom dress, or Sunday Best. Boys can be: tuxedos, suits, or Sunday Best. In no way does the cost of the contestant’s attire have a bearing on the outcome of the pageant.

6.  Makeup is allowed, but should be age appropriate and used with discretion.

7.  Judges will be one volunteer member each from Northwest Savings Bank , Lawrenceville Borough & Lawrence Township.

8.  Awards will be given to 1st place & Runner up will be selected in each age category as follows:

·  Little Mr. / Little Miss- Ages 1 year to 6 years.

·  Junior Mr. / Junior Miss- Ages 7 years to 13 years.

·  Mr. /Miss Lawrenceville- 14 years to 18 years.

9.  No formal rehearsal will take place. Winners will be selected on best overall performance in composure and demeanor. Contestants will be grouped by age and each given an opportunity to answer basic questions on likes/dislikes and other age appropriate questions (see attachment for list of questions).

10.  Any display of bad sportsmanship and/or unbecoming conduct, any interference and/or disturbance, foul language, or any other behavioral problems created by a contestant, parent, relative or supporter of a contestant could result in disqualification of the contestant not only from this year’s pageant but all future contests.

11.  All pageant participants will be asked to arrive Saturday, September 19th at Rotsell’s Restaurant at 12:30 p.m. for the parade at 1p.m., dressed in Pageant attire as described previously.

12.  Northwest Savings Bank, Lawrenceville Volunteer Fire Department, and Lawrenceville Borough Community Relations and Events committees are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged property. Please treat the facility with the upmost respect and clean up after yourself when the event is over.
