Guidelines for Hosting:

1.  Yule Log :

Please only allow adults to start the Yule Log fire. Start fire by 5:30. The Yule Log is located on the Village Green. Place kindling from the nearby pile in the fire hole. Place a small amount of starter on the kindling and light (please, no singed eyebrows!) : ) Place larger logs (which can also be found in the nearby pile) on top of kindling once it starts burning well.

After your Yule Log is over, just allow the fire to burn down. It is not necessary to put water or dirt on the fire.

2.  Golf Carts:

Part of the duties of hosting the Yule Log include greeting people at the entrance (of the trail, not the property) and helping those individuals who may be physically impaired by giving them a ride on the golf cart. Only adults may drive the golf cart. Please only use the cart to take people up the brick walkway, through glutton’s glade, in front of the stage area, and the slight hill to the Yule Log area. Please do not use the cart to take them any farther.

Please lock the golf cart to the other golf cart in the shed.

3.  Refreshments:

Each Exhibitor must host one night at the Yule Log (34 nights). Depending on number of exhibitors this year, there should be 3 groups per night to host. The EAT will provide hot water, table, & skewers for roasting. Please co-ordinate with your other hosts to divide refreshments (hot dogs, buns, hot chocolate , marshmallows & cups and napkins.etc).

4.  Entertainment:

The EmilyAnn will be arranging some of the nightly entertainment Thursday – Sunday. Check with the office if your group has special entertainment planned.
