3 Review of minutes of last meeting on 19.4.2012:No corrections and accepted

4 Matters arising from last meeting not on agenda: Nil

5 International Essay Prize: Approved by Dean but £15 thought to be too small so now £50 agreed. Waiting for final College ratification before setting in motion.

6 Feedback from Volunteering :

UK -One volunteer worked at Olympics and reported not busy

Fiona Donnelly will send further information later-(not available at meeting but now on website)

Core trainees and higher training - Placements in Ghana and Somaliland by core and higher specialist trainees

Core trainee spent 6 months in Gambia

Consultants Peter Hughes has worked in Ethiopia,Somaliland and Uganda

Work needed on developing more volunteer opportunities. Also would be useful to hear of all members international work.

7. Feedback from general adult faculty; Somemoney for mh Gap training has been offered,enough to fund a training weekend. Date to be confirmed and organised –possibly 27-28 April 2013.

8 Annual business plan : Prepared and submitted by Peter Hughes in September 2012.

9 Fundraising: Sophia Thomson reports that Fundraising trek in Myanmar waiting for approval by new College PR manager. Also cycle events called Nightrider in July 2013 may appeal to cycling enthusiasts.

10 Promotion of international work: Everyone responsibility to mention this when and wherever possible

11 Diaspora feedback : None available

12 Conference Programme finalised except for debate speakers. Nick Bass kindly agreed to be one of the speakers . 1 more needed.Mandip will think about possibility of a trainee speaking. Capacity 50 people.Plan to send out reminder with flyer and programme as well as Sara and Michael contacting their local divisions and Peter contacting London Division.

13 Future directions- for further discussion. UK and International volunteering. Diaspora, division links. Planned 2nd conference 2013. Fundraising trek
