- Supplemental Educational Services
Outside companies, about 94 vendors will be here during a vendor fair on Nov. 4th, and Nov. 8th.
Ms. Robles shared experience about a parent and a vendor not being so good and/or effective.
Ms. Benavides recommended to interview vendors, get as much as information as possible.
We also provide tutoring in our school in any subject area Monday through Thursday from 2:40pm to 3:40pm.
- Looking ahead:
- Parent conferences: Nov. 3, 2011
- Supplemental Educational Services Fair: Nov. 4th and Nov. 8th
- Next SSC Meeting: Nov. 17, 2011
- Public Comments and Questions
Everything is moving in the right direction, and it shows. The morale of the school is good. Each AYP point means a lot of work.
Ms. Benavides would like to invite parents to schedule observation in Math, English and Apple 1 to 1 classrooms.
We will have 6th Grade visits next month, as these students come to Giano as a field trip, they will be walked through classrooms and office. We would like to do rotation for students in action. Teachers liked that idea.
Ms. Robles mentioned that she likes to get teacher’s feedback in regards to her son’s homework. Agenda books are great tools as well to monitor the student’s homework.
- Public Comments and Questions
With no further questions and/or comments meeting was adjourned at 3:45pm
