1. / That the Code of Policies of Rotary International District 9650 Incorporated be amended as follows:
1. / ARTICLE 1. DEFINITIONS
District Management Committee
The Committee appointed by the Annual General Meeting to administer the District for one year from 1st July next after the conclusion of the annual general meeting as presented to the Annual General Meeting by the District Governor that will preside over that District Management Committee comprising the District Executive Committee, the immediate Past District Governor, the Foundation Chairman, the Public Relations Director, Membership Director, 2 Service Projects Directors (Vocational & New Generations Service Director and International & Community Services Director), and 2 representatives from the Assistant Governors and up to two (2) additional members. The District Governor Nominee is also the Club Administration Director. Should any position be held by the holder of another named position then additional members may be appointed to a maximum of 13 15 members of the District Management Committee. Other members so appointed will be members of the District Management team.

ARTICLE 5. MEETINGS
5.01 Annual General Meetings – Holding of
5.01.3 Articles 5.01.1. and 5.01.2. have effect subject to any extension or permission granted by the Minister under section 26(3) of the Act.
ARTICLE 6. THE COMMITTEE
6.02 Constitution and membership
6.02.1 Subject in the case of the first members of the committee to section 21 of the Act, the committees is to consist of:
6.02.1.1 the office bearers of the District, and the immediate Past District Governor, the Foundation Chairman, the Public Relations Director, Membership Director, 2 Service Projects Directors (being Vocational & New Generations Service Director and International & Community Services Director) and Club Administration Director (being the District Governor Nominee), and 2 representatives from the Assistant Governors and up to two (2) additional members. Should any position be held by the holder of another position then additional members may be appointed to a maximum number of 13 15 members of the District Management Committee. Other members so appointed will be members of the District Management Team as defined in the definition section of the Code of Policies of Rotary International District 9650 Incorporated each of whom with the exception of the governor, the governor- elect and the governor-nominee is to be elected at the annual general meeting of the District pursuant to rule 6.03.
6.08 Meeting and Quorum
6.08.5 Any 5 At least half of the members of the committee constitute a quorum for the transaction of the business of a meeting of the committee, provided always that one of such members of the committee is the governor.

That the District Management Committee be requested to activate the provision that exists in the Code of Policies of Rotary International District 9650 Incorporated (5.01.2.1) for a training committee and that the committee shall be known as the Training and Members Development Committee.

5.06.4 / Purpose
The committee is responsible for supporting the governor and governor-elect in training club and district leaders and overseeing the overall training and member’s development plan for the district.
Committee Chair
The district trainer serves as the chair of the training committee and assigns responsibility for training meetings and functions as necessary.
Additional Qualifications of Members
Preference should be given to Rotarians with training, education or facilitation experience
Duties and Responsibilities
The committee should work with the governor and governor-elect on training and member’s development programs in the district.

10. / A special meeting was held on 27th October 2012 to receive and adopt the 2011-2012 Annual Financial Accounts, Balance Sheet, Reports of the Finance Committee and Auditors report. These have been received and accepted by the Department of Fair Trading.
11. / Address by Rotary International President’s personal representative PRID Stuart Heal.
12. / General Business:
Any late items of General Business will require the consent of the meeting before being accepted for discussion and consideration by the meeting.
