Arrival 12.00 and check-in at hotel

Proceed to lunch that will be served in a restaurant in the Castle district. 21 Magyar Étterem

After lunch you can hear a 20 minute long organ concert in the 13th – century coronation church named Matthias Church.Afternoon: city tour in the Buda side.

From the Romanesque lookout tower, the Fishermen’s Bastion there is a superb view over the city and the Danube. From here we walk towards the buildings of the ancient Royal Palace, now home of various museums and libraries.

From the Castle Hill, ride up to Gellért Hill that also offers a marvellous view of the whole capital.

Dinner in the hotel Hilton. Overnight in Budapest at the hotel.

2nd. May, Saturday

After breakfast travel to the Hungarian Great Plain with coach and English-Italian speaking guide.

We drive to a traditional Hungarian farm.LajosmizseTanyacsárda. After receiving the greetings of the horsemen, you can taste the famous Hungarian welcome drink, “Barack Pálinka” (Apricot Schnapps) and the “Pogácsa” (salty scone). Horsemen will then take you around and through the Puszta by horse-carriage. The program continues with a traditional horse show, which includes several breathtaking field performances. You are then invited for a three-course lunch including the famous Hungarian goulash soup, accompanied by Hungarian gipsy music. The programme offers the possibility to ride the horses.

Rueturn to Budapest in the afternoon hours.

Now you have the opportunity to enjoy the famous Szechenyi Thermal Baths - 3 hours entrance ticket included in the program price ( alternative program option in preparation)

After breakfast begins the Budapest city tour in the Pest side with coach and English speaking guide.

We drive past the St. Stephens Basilica, Budapest’s largest church, dating back to 1845 and decorated by the most famous artists of the century, the Parliamentbuilding with a strong resemblance to the British Parliament, Heroes’ Square, the finest open space of the capital, with monuments that commemorate the millennium of the conquest of Hungary. The country’s history is presented here. A little further, on the CityParkLake you glimpse the romantic VajdahunyadCastlecomplex.

Afternoon : Free afternoon of leisure and shopping.

Evening : we take you to the port, where a 1,5 hours evening ship cruise begins on the river Danube with candlelight dinner on board
