Rosemont Hosts National Night Out Events

On Tuesday, August 4, seven neighborhoods in Rosemont celebrated National Night Out with fun gatherings in front yards, and even in the street. The events were visited by officers of the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department and the California Highway Patrol as they used the gatherings to build stronger relations among neighbors and with law enforcement. One such NNO event, in the Cresleigh-Premier subdivision, drew over 100 attendees to a delicious feast and they closed off a block to traffic. This neighborhood has done much to help assure its safety as well as its sense of community. If you would like your neighborhood to hold a NNO event next year on Tuesday, August 2 – always the first Tuesday of August – start talking to your neighbor now and coordinate with the Sheriff’s Department. RCA has all the information to help you get started; just email .
