Rooftop Anchor, Inc. engineers, manufacturers and installs suspended access and rooftop access fall protection systems for commercial, residential, industrial, military bases, sports venues, aircraft maintenance and mining applications. Our employees and network of representatives have extensive experience in fall protection safety in new construction and retrofit projects.
Our experience has shown the majority of work environments lack suitable fall protection systems for employees, window cleaning crews, maintenance teams and other contractors who work at heights, or risk a fall, of 4 feet (1219 mm) or greater. Rooftop Anchor Inc. does not "sell" fall protection products. We are a full service partner that designs, manufactures, installs and certifies fall protection systems to help ensure work environments are code compliant. Rooftop Anchor Inc. team of safety experts provides our clients with a complimentary design and engineering service to assist in the development of a compliance plan to meet local codes and regulations based on each building's unique characteristics.

2.2 GENERAL

2.2.1 Fall Protection and rooftop access systems as follows:

2.2.1.1 Rooftop Access: Fall restraint and fall arrest systems allow workers to traverse rooftops or similar elevated areas while maintaining 100 percent tie-off to an OSHA compliant system. Rooftop access systems are typically needed by trades who perform routine maintenance of roof-based equipment for example HVAC and communication equipment, security cameras, gutters, solar panels, skylights, and lighting. Fall restraint systems allow users to approach fall hazards without falling over the edge, fall arrest are used when fall restraint is not feasible and engineered so when a user begins to fall, the system will promptly arrest or stop the fall.

** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Indicate the activities that users will be engaged in while using the fall protection systems, which systems will be used for each activity, and the location of the activity.
