Rolesville High School

Honors Biology Project 2016

Students are expected to complete an honors project as part of being in an Honors Biology class. The overall project focuses on 21st century skills for the classroom. Students will master the use and sharing of technologies used during the semester. Students will also create a website showcasing 21st century skills. All work must be original. Each individual portion of the honors project will be completed outside of the classroom and is done individually. Once a portion of the honors project is turned in for grading, the student cannot make changes to those parts and those parts cannot be re-submitted to achieve a higher grade. At the discretion of the teacher, students may turn in work early for the teacher to make comments on without grading the part. A rubric will be included for each portion of the honors project and will be readily available for all students before each individual section of the honors project is due. The project will be broken up into sections and the sections will be due throughout the entire semester. Because adequate time is given for each section, parts received after the due date (regardless of attendance in class) will be considered late and must adhere to the Biology department late policy.

Due dates for all parts are subject to change at the discretion of the biology department.

Part I: Due Monday, February 29th by 11:59pm
