The post-holder will join an established outreach and engagement service based at our Service in Harlesden. The Project provides a range of services including: community engagement, harm minimisation and other structured interventions to substance misusers in Brent. A particular focus for the project is to work with ‘hard to reach’ groupswho are typically underrepresented in treatment services. The post-holder will work alongside the current team with a clear focus on engaging with the sex working population of Brent. The service is contracted to dedicate at least 25% of time to assertive outreach aimed at bringing new clients into the treatment system. The rest of the time the post-holder will work intensively with their caseload, providing holistic care in order to meet the complex needs of this group. You will be responsible for contributing to the overall performance of the service to ensure that contractual output targets are achieved. You will be required to record and input client data and information in order that the service operates within contractual requirements.
You will be required to work flexibly across operational sites as required and work within an agreed number of hours to maintain the most appropriate level of service provision. This will include flexibility in working hours (i.e. some earlier starts, evening and weekends).
You will contribute to an outcome focussed culture that can be explained and justified to all customers and consumers.
