Robyn Jenna Montgomery Boertje CSUF 2006

My name is Robyn Boertje. I was born in Visalia, California. I am the younger of 2 children born to Greg and Rhonda Montgomery. My sister, Trisha, is an FNP and has encouraged me throughout my education and occupation. My Grandma Irene was born in 1909 and became a nurse in 1930 from Kings College located in Huntington, West Virginia. I followed her footsteps and graduated from CSUF in 2006 with my BSN. I am currently completing the MSN-FNP program from CSUF and will graduate in May of 2009. I have been working since 2006 on the intermediate critical care floor at Kaweah Delta District Hospital. I have been married for 3 years. After playing 2 years of golf at Fresno State, I continue to play golf.

Terea Gianetta was a fantastic professor who was inspirational. I was lucky to have had an excellent study group and project group. We needed each other’s support.
