Easter Lunch: The cook would like to invite all children to an Easter Lunch on Thursday 6th April. The menu will be:

Roast Beef

Roast Potatoes, Baton Carrots, Garden Peas

Yorkshire Pudding

Or

Tomato and Mascarpone Pasta

Garlic Dough Balls

Easter Biscuit

Or

Chocolate Krispy Cake

Milkshake

The meal is covered by the Infant Free School Meal Scheme for children in Reception, Year 1 and Year2 and is priced £2.20 for children in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6. If your child does not usually have a school lunch on a Thursday and would like to join the Easter meal, please complete the reply slip and return to school by Friday 31st March.

Easter Music Performance: Children in Key Stage 2 will be performing Easter Music on Friday 31st March at 2pm. Children in Year 3 will perform Samba music, Year 4 will play their brass instruments, the choir will be singing, the Guitar group will perform and there will be solo performances from some children. Parents are welcome to join us on Friday afternoon.

Walk for Water: It would be appreciated if any outstanding sponsor money for the Walk for Water could now be sent into school.Thank you.

Cerebal Palsy World Day: You are invited to support the Kindergarten on Cerebal Palsy World Day tomorrow, Wednesday 29th March by wearing an item of green or purple clothing in exchange for a donation of £1 towards World Cerebal Palsy Day.

Car Park: The car park will not be available to parents during the evening Holy Communion Sessions. Parents are advised to park on Norfolk Road. This is in the interests of Health and Safety.

Auditor: The school requires a new auditor for the school fund accounts. If you are or know of an accountant who could offer some time, please could you contact the school office.

Green Drive/Park View Road: We have been informed of occasions when both adults and children have been approached by a man behaving in an unacceptable manner in this area. The Police are aware of the situation. Please be vigilant and report any approaches to the Police.

Easter Performance: Years 3 and 4 will be performing Easter Praise at 9.15am on Wednesday 5th April. Children in these classes have received a separate letter to order tickets. Please buy your tickets as we have families hoping for additional tickets.

Birthday Lunch: The cook would like to invite children who celebrate their birthday in March to join the Birthday table on Thursday 30th March. The meal will be the hot or cold menu of the day with the addition of a cake, and is priced £2.20 for Junior Children. The meal is covered by the Infant Free School Meal Scheme with the addition of 50p to cover the birthday extras. Please complete the reply slip to reserve a place.

Young Seasiders Competition: The schools Arts and Crafts Exhibition is now open at the University Centre Gallery, Blackpool and the Fylde College, Park Road, Blackpool. It will run until Thursday 30th March. Admission is free, opening times Monday – Thursday 10am – 7pm and Friday 10am – 4pm. Well done to everyone who entered, all entrants will receive a certificate. Congratulations to the prize winners: Reception: Joss Hewitt, Year 4: Libby Hall and Poppy Pickles, Year 6: Maksim Kosogorin.

Dinner Money: As the end of term approaches some families continue to owe dinner money. Please bring these arrears up to date. Payment may be online, by cheque payable to St Peters School or in cash.

Breakfast Club and Ark After School Club: Please return booking forms together with payment for next half term to secure your place. A reminder to a few families who continue to owe fees this half term.

PTFA Bunny Bop: Tickets for the Bunny Bop on Friday 31st March, 6pm – 8pm, at Lytham Catholic Club have now sold out.Everyone with a ticket is invited to enter the Easter Hat-tastic event. You may decorate any headwear you like – caps, hats, headbands or bonnets. Bring your creations to the Bunny Bop. There will be 1st place and runner up positions for Infants and Juniors.

Street Life Sleep Out: On Friday 31st March Mr Elston will be sleeping on the street in Blackpool. Any donations in support of Street Life would be appreciated and may be given to Mr and Mrs Elston or handed in to the office.

School breaks up at 3.15pm on Friday 7th April and re-opens at 8.45am on Wednesday 19th April.
