Checklist – include the following with your application:

Plan/Map – Route which shows area to be closed and proposed diversion route.
Event plan/Traffic Management Plan – Please see the attached guidance notes
Nonaccredited Marshals and Stewards do not have the authority to direct traffic
on the public highway.
Risk Assessment Form – Please see the attached guidance notes.
Advance signing will be erected at agreed locations on (date) :
(2 weeks prior to event).
Your application may be delayed without the information listed above. All information must be provided at least 12 weeks prior to your event.

Declaration

I understand that, as the event organiser, I am the person responsible for the event. Therefore, I will ensure that appropriate risk assessment and event plan will be in place.

I confirm that I will ensure that there is appropriate signage, traffic management planning and sufficient public liability insurance in place (a minimum cover of £5,000,000).

I indemnify Bradford Council against all claims for accident, damage or injury caused by, or in consequence of the event named.

I understand that if any litter / rubbish remains in the area as a result of the event that there will be a charge imposed on the event organiser should the Council have to remove it.

I have read and understand fully the guidance notes provided to me and will adhere to all responsibilities/duties required by Bradford Council.
