NOTICE OF RACE
The Rivoli Bay Sailing Club Inc. is pleased to invite entries for the Tasar SA vs. Vic Challenge Regatta. The regatta will consist of 3 sessions to be sailed on the waters of Rivoli Bay.
1.Rules
All races will be conducted in accordance with the 2012-2015 racing rules of sailing of the I.S.A.F. The prescriptions and special regulations of Yachting Australia (YA) and the rules of the Tasar class (except as any of these are altered by the sailing instructions) and by the sailing instructions.
2.Advertising
The Regatta is classified as a Category A Event in Accordance with Appendix land the Prescriptions of Y.A.
3.Eligibility and Entry
Eligibility extends to all yacht owners whose vessels meet their respective safety requirements stated by the 2012-2015 I.S.A.F and Class restrictions.
The only class sailed will be the Tasar.
All Helmspersons must be financial members of a club and/or class association.
Eligible yachts may enter on the attached entry form either by post which shall be lodged with the Rivoli Bay Sailing Club Inc one week before Sailing commences or at the registration desk located within the Rivoli Bay Sailing Club no later than 1 hour before racing commences.
4.Fees
$50 per boat for all Sessions.
5. Schedule of Events
Saturday January 23th
Registration 9:00-11:30 hrs
Briefing 12:00 hrs
Race Session 1 13:00 hrs
Sunday January 24th
Race Session 2 10:00 hrs
Race Session 313:30 hrs
6.Sailing Instructions
Sailing instructions will be available from the registration desk at the prescribed registration times.
7.Courses
Courses will be set for the prevailing conditions and will be displayed on the Official Notice Board.
8.Scoring System
The Low point scoring system of Appendix A.4.1 will apply.
9.Decision of the Jury
Decisions of the Jury will be final in accordance with racing rule 70.4.
10.Prizes
Prizes will be awarded by the discretion of the committee.
11.Catering
The Rivoli Bay Sailing Club Inc. will cater for lunch throughout the regatta and Mid Regatta dinner on Saturday night and Presentation dinner on Sunday Night
