Setting Up an iTunes Store Account
Go to to download iTunes 9.0.2
Right Click on Yellow Bar at top to Run ActiveX Control, then RUN
**Under the Downloads iTunes Nowheading REMOVE the checkmarks unless you want to weekly iTunes emails
Click Download NOW
Run the file
Click Run
Select Next
CHANGE the License Agreement to “I ACCEPT”
Click Next
Click Install(Takes about 5 minutes)
Click Finish
ClickAgree
The iTunes Software License Agreement Screen comes up
Click Agree
The iTunes Setup Assistant screen comes up
Click Next
Click Next
Keep iTunes Music Folder Organized
Decide if you want to organize the files yourself or let iTunes organize for you
Click Next
Click Finish (you will be redirected to the store)
You are now in the Apple – iTunes Store

How to Set up an iTunes Store Account
This step must be completed from home. It won’t go through the proxy.

You can shop the iTunes Store 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and your purchases begin downloading immediately. In addition to an amazing selection of music, TV shows, movies, and apps, you can also download free Podcasts (radio- and TV-style shows you can download from the Internet), audiobooks, and thousands of hours of free educational content from iTunes U. Before you can download from the iTunes Store, you must have an iTunes Store account.
To open an iTunes Store account, you must provide a valid payment method, such as a credit card, and a valid billing address. The iTunes Store is not available in all countries. To open an account, your payment method and billing address must be from same country as the iTunes Store you use. To create an iTunes Store account, follow these instructions:
Note: If you have an Apple ID or MobileMe account, please skip to the next set of instructions.
- Open iTunes (If you do not have iTunes, you can download iTunes).
- Choose Store > Create Account.
- Read through the Terms & Conditions, check the box if you agree to the terms, then click Continue.
- Complete the form to create your free Apple ID (the login you will use with the iTunes Store).
- Provide a valid payment method and billing address.
- Begin shopping from the iTunes Store.
To create an iTunes Store account using your MobileMe account or an existing Apple ID, follow these instructions:
- Open iTunes (If you do not have iTunes, you can download iTunes).
- Choose Store > Sign In.
- Enter your MobileMe account or Apple ID, then click the Sign In button.
- You will receive a message stating that the ID you have entered has not been used on the iTunes Store before, click the Review button.
- Read through the Terms & Conditions, check the box if you agree to the terms, then click Continue.
- Provide a valid payment method and billing address.
- Begin shopping from the iTunes Store.
