Please especially see section 1.7 of the Academic Appeals Policy on eligibility to appeal and 1.9 on evidence requirements. Only the student about whom a decision has been made can lodge an appeal against that decision; appeals by third parties are not accepted [see section 1.7].

Please note the deadlines of appealing an Attendance Failure:

  • Fall 2017 semester: 18 December 2017, by 5pm
  • Spring 2018 semester: 4 May 2018, by 5pm

Verbal confirmation is not normally sufficient – you must have their confirmation in writing. (Note that this statement and your supporting evidence may be copied to the instructor/department/examiner/committee concerned to help them to respond).
