_____ 1. Responsibility and Liability

Initial

  1. The RiceHopeDiscoveryCenter is primarily for the use and enjoyment of Rice Hope Homeowners and their families. No Third Party Reservations Will Be Accepted.
  2. Any and All Use of the Clubhouse will be under the Direct Supervision and Responsibility of the RICE HOPE HOMEOWNER RESERVING THE PROPERTY WHO MUST BE PRESENT AT ALL TIMES DURING THE EVENT.
  3. The undersigned shall be financially responsible for any and all damage occurring to the Clubhouse during his/her use. Furthermore, the undersigned agrees to pay for said damage(s) or exceptional cleaning costs within ten (10) days of billing and any collection and/or legal costs incurred by the Rice Hope Plantation Community Association, Inc. in the collection of said debt.
  4. The undersigned agrees to assume all liability for personal injury or loss not arising out of the sole negligence of the Association and will defend and hold harmless the Association and its members from all claims arising there from.
  5. Any abuse of the Clubhouse may result in revocation of the privilege of its use.

______2. After Use: Cleanup and Inspection

Initial

  1. Clean all items used such as tables, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sinks, ovens, etc.
  2. Make sure all flat surfaces such as countertops and bar are wiped clean.
  3. Return all tables and chairs to original position.
  4. Sweep/Vacuum main floor area including kitchen and bar area.
  5. Brush off crumbs and debris; check between cushions.
  6. Remove food and dishes from the refrigerator/freezer and clean as required. DO NOT LEAVE LIQUOR OR ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES IN THE REFRIGERATOR OR BAR AREA.
  7. Remove and dispose of all trash from the Clubhouse and restrooms. Trash must be taken by owner or caterer and placed in the outside trash dumpster. Replace used trashcan liners.
  8. Turn the Televisions and all electronics off.
  9. Turn all lights off upon leaving.
  10. Be sure ALL doors are locked when leaving.

_____3. Reservation & Charges

Initial

  1. The charge for follow-up cleaning of the clubhouse and grounds is at contract rate. Users need to inspect the Clubhouse, front grounds, and pool amenities area prior to their departure for trash and/or anything out of its usual place.

_____4. Rules for Use & Special Conditions

Initial

  1. Max capacity of attendants for Clubhouse rental is 100 people.
  2. No Smoking inside clubhouse or inside pool gates. Smoking area is designated outside the pool gate under the pagodas.
  3. All consumption of food or drink will be provided by the renter or third party. Food and drink found in kitchen area before event should not be consumed.
  4. In Consideration of neighbors living near the Clubhouse, the facility must be vacated by 10pm on weeknights and 12:00 Midnight on weekends (Friday and Saturday).
  5. NOTHING MAY BE ATTACHED T THE CLUBHOUSE WALL WITH ADHESIVE, GLUE OR TACKS AND NAILS.
  6. Rice Hope Homeowner and all event guests must REVIEW and ABIDE BY the Aquatics Center Regulations provided to the Homeowner with the rental agreement.
  7. The rental of the Clubhouse DOES NOT INCLUDE THE RENTAL OF THE POOL.
  8. All glass must remain in the Clubhouse area and may NOT enter the Pool Deck.

CLUBHOUSE CLEAN-UP AFTER USE

  1. Clean all items used such as tables, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, sinks, ovens, etc. Make sure the all flat surfaces such as countertops and bar are wiped clean.
  1. Return all tables and chairs and accessories to their original position.
  1. Sweep/Vacumn main floor area including kitchen and bar area.
  1. Brush off crumbs and debris; check between cushions.
  1. Remove food and dishes from the refrigerator/freezer and clean as required. Do not leave any food or drink that has been brought with you.
  1. Remove and dispose of all trash and trash bags from the Clubhouse and restrooms. Trash must be taken by owner or caterer and placed into the outside trash dumpster. Replace used trash can liners.
  1. Lock all exterior doors before leaving and replace door key

(if applicable) in original location.

  1. Clubhouse must be cleaned immediately after rental so that it is ready for next occupant.
