RFP for La Vega ISD’s Year 21 E-Rate FY 2018

Under the USAC E-Rate Fund

La Vega ISD is posting the following RFP for your consideration. We appreciate your interest in helping our district achieve its technology goals. Vendors bidding on this RFP must be a USAC (Universal Service Administrative Company) approved vendor for E-Rate Discounts. The vendor must have applied for and received a Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN) number from the USAC, and this SPIN number must be included with the proposal. Vendors may choose to bid on any or all portions of the RFP.

Vendors will be required to make one (1) mandatory bid meeting for Internal Connections.

Meeting Dates are: Monday February 5, 2018 at 9:00AM, Tuesday February 6, 2018 at 9:00AM, Monday February 12, 2018 at 9:00 AM, and Tuesday February 13, 2018 at 9:00AM.

Telecommunications Services Meeting: No meetings for Telecommunications Services is required so vendors can just email the proposals or call 254-299-6720 or email .

Bids or proposals must be received in this office no later than 4:00 P.M. on Thursday,

February 23, 2018 at the Technology Department Building at 3101 Latimer Building F.

Closing time is 4:00 p.m. Hand delivery, mailed, emailed, or faxed proposals will be accepted

from vendors that made the on-site visit/mandatory bid meeting. Any proposals received later than the specified time, whether delivered in person, mailed, emailed or faxed shall be disqualified. La Vega ISD reserves the right to accept any part or all parts of a vendor’s bid or proposal, to accept any bid deemed most advantageous and to waive any informalities in bidding.

Because the District’s application to the USAC is subject to review by USAC before

funds are available, La Vega ISD will enter into signing a RFP contract(s) with vendors

with the stipulation that the RFP contract(s) will be valid only if La Vega ISD is the

recipient of the E-Rate Discount of 85% as applied for by the District in the Form 470

and 471 on Category 2 services. In the event of a denial of funding or a level of funding below our

request from the USAC, any or all RFP contracts for requested services will be

void.
