Reviewed Drafts of Survey and Facilitation Notes

Reviewed Drafts of survey and facilitation notes

Monday 2/12 from 2-3 in GWP 320

Meeting Objectives:

1.Review any outstanding items on the survey that our group members feel strongly should not be put in front of stakeholders.

a.We noted that we could spend hours creating the perfect tool, which is not the intention of our work and will slow us down from doing the important work of getting the input of our campus community

b. Revisit religious group part of “Tell us about yourself”

c. Review facilitation notes and discuss focus groups

Discussed survey + focus group and survey taken without focus group

Idea to wait to do focus groups until dash board is ready

Framing in facilitation notes helps to elevate need for campus to use disaggregated data in making decisions

Discussion of survey fatigue

Purpose of focus groups– to hear from people or to clarify survey?

Move from discussion to facilitation of survey taking

2.Create a list of stakeholders for focus groups and the strategy we will use to get the survey out.

Use catalyst because it’s UW platform

Can choose to not ask for UW Net ID

Okay from analysis perspective

Make survey available online – on charting our course website

Message from Chancellor line email

3.Review how we will frame the focus group discussions.
