Dear «AAF_SALUTATION»,

You are a leader of Carleton’s Alumni Annual Fund and we are deeply grateful for your generous support of our alma mater.

This September Carleton welcomed the Class of 2021, comprised of 526 students from 46 states and 21 countries. With your help, the Alumni Annual Fund enabled our school to meet the full financial need of every admitted student in this class andevery student continuing their Carleton experience.

Your special generosity, combined with the leadership giving of 731 Three Oaks donors, represented more than 60 percent of the total dollars raised from alumni last fiscal year. Our collective gift of nearly $5M in operating support (of the AAF $8M total) immediately funded vital programs at Carleton.

This year, the Alumni Annual Fund continues to be essential to the financial foundation that allows Carleton to invite outstanding students to learn from the nation’s leading teaching faculty. Within the Alumni Annual Fund, our Three Oaks Society’s leadership gifts are crucial as the college strives to provide the best in liberal arts education for every Carleton student.

In this reunion year for those of us in the 3s and 8s, we have a special reason to stretch. As we plan great events for our June weekend in Northfield, we’re all thinking about the role our professors and close friends have played in our adult lives. We have a reason for a special stretch – please, would you consider a reunion year gift of $«ASK_AMOUNT»?

On behalf of the Alumni Annual Fund Board of Directors, alumni community, faculty, staff, and –most of all – current Carleton students, thank you for your generosity and support.

With warmest regards,

Kathy Valyi ’73 P14 and Don Frost ’83 P13
