Technology

·  Instrumental in defining specification requirements for SAP reporting that met business requirements during implementation for material management module for the inventory control teams.

·  Responsible for the physical and financial flow of materials and coordinated daily activities for inventory reduction. Networked effectively to ensure that the team is utilizing “best practices” in SAP and process management.

·  Physical inventory adjustment coordinator oversaw and championed the daily cycle count program for ABG Supply Chain (Houston). Supplied business metrics data, by collecting and reporting business results in all material indices managed by the manufacturing/inventory control teams.

·  Financial reconciliation on BOM’s accuracy, raw materials and finished goods for the ABG manufacturing business to achieve EOQ and EOY goals forecasted by management.

·  Daily analysis of account payables, material variance account, and operations system errors due to shipping inconsistencies (i.e., SAP, SFDM, ManMan, MTDCS, Catalyst, EDB). Maintained relations with internal and external channel partners for quick problem resolutions.

·  Process improvements both system tools and reports as well as job function procedures, which successfully resolved 98.9% of the $18.7 million AP issues referred by procurement to the factories.

·  Strong working partnerships with SAP Operating System Management and Technicians

·  Coordinated and managed process controls for inventory control in the commercial division (“D” shift).

·  A member of the “CTO” project team. Newly established Configuration Center of Houston (NACC).

·  Reviewed factory schedule to communicate line start-ups to ensure material readiness.

·  Provided effective monitoring, follow-ups and alternative plan to ensure team goals were achieved.

·  Held several key positions within the Customer Service and SMT (PCA) organizations.

EXPERIENCE

Oscar Roldan is a senior ERP consultant with 14 years of industry experience with Compaq Computer Corporation where he worked in all aspects of ERP development and implementation including change management, system specification, business process mapping, training documentation, and end user and super user training. His areas of particular strength include supply chain and materials management.

Roldan was instrumental in defining specifications for the ERP system at Compaq, was given responsibility for the physical and financial control of materials, and supplied business metrics data from SAP for all materials managed by the manufacturing and inventory control teams. His expertise as a systems super user was recognized and he was given the responsibility for developing and delivering training in Compaq’s manufacturing and inventory management organization in Houston.

Roldan’s work experiences qualify him to work in the development and implementation of ERP systems. He is fluent in Spanish and English and has worked in SAP in both languages. He is an energetic and professional worker, proficient in computer software, and is attentive to detail.
