The Lenten Family Activity Series was seeded with the inspiration of Bishop Gerald Barbarito who guided and supported this undertaking for the parishes to use the family activities to strengthen their family life of prayer. We thank Bishop Barbarito for his leadership and guidance. Msgr. Robert Lawler, Vicar General continued to be our advocate until Bishop Robert Cunningham arrived. With our deep gratitude, Bishop Robert Cunningham continues to support the endeavors of this Lenten Series with his wisdom and insights to support family life. This work would not have borne fruit without the vision Sister Mary Ellen Brett’s when she was Director of the Office of Evangelization. Our many thanks to her.

This Lenten Series would not be able to go forward without the special people from each of the departments and offices of the Diocesan family. A special thank you to Msgr.
