A lease will need to be signed between the student and the residence hall. Termination of the lease will not be permitted. Please note that orientation activities may start as early as Monday August 28th 2017. Classes will start on Tuesday September 5th 2017. The final exam period will end on Thursday December 21st 2017.

Cost of stay (taxes included):

Double occupancy: $1,215 CAD per month

Single occupancy: $1,415 CAD per month

What is included in the fee: Accommodation in double occupancy, facilities at the Residence (pool, exercise room, Jacuzzi, student lounges, common kitchen, game room, study room, etc.), bi-monthly cleaning of room, including bathroom and outside of appliances (small fridge, small freezer, microwave).

What is not included in the fee: a) meals, b) linen – you are required to bring your own linen; a list of items sold by EVO will be sent to you closer to your arrival. Also not included in fee are: cleaning of bed linen, towels, personal clothing, toiletries and all other items not explicitly mentioned as being included in the fee.

I realize that I have no control over the assigned roommate to the same room if I choose a double occupancy room. I also accept full financial responsibility, including finance charges that will accrue on unpaid charges and all costs relating to the collection of unpaid balances, including attorney fees, collection costs and interest for any damage that I may cause directly or indirectly to the residence, its furniture and other content and for injuries that I may directly or indirectly cause to other residents, guests or myself. At the time of departure, any missing item originally supplied with the room will also be my financial responsibility. I acknowledge that I am aware of the non-smoking policy of the residence. I assume financial responsibility for any cleanup costs that may be required. I will abide by the Residence’s Code of Conduct, and all the relevant McGill policies and regulations.

If the chosen type of room is not available, EVO will inform me and I will be given the opportunity to cancel my reservations without any charge or obligations on my part.
