Directions for Project:

You will write a 8 page research paper. Visit for help with guidelines. See this site to set up your MLA format for writing.

Your paper will be typed, double spaced, in Times New Roman 12 font. MLA format 8thedition

The paper should be organized as follows:(staple all together in this order)

Page 1:Cover Page Title of Your Paper, Class#, Name, Date, Picture/Pictures (you should add a photo or clipart which relate to your report.)

Page 2 & 3: Intro, Body, Conclusion (your paper may be longer; but this is the minimum.)

Page 4: Works Cited Page (document your sources; online also; see example provided)

Page 5-8: Appendix A (Pre-planning writing outline, see below) & Grading Rubric

Be CAREFUL not to plagiarize and cite all sources which are not paraphrased or in YOUR OWN words.

Refer back to your Graphic Organizer and Learning Outcomes and make sure you address them in your paper to show evidence of what you have learned in this project.
