Request for Quote (RFQ) for Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) and Exchange Traded Products (ETPs) Go-Live
The purpose of this announcement is to confirm the go-live date for the upcoming RFQ release.
Production Go-Live* / Monday 13 March 2017 /*Production Go-Live date is pending completion of internal testing and customer readiness activities. Contingency go-live date is Monday 27 March 2017.
To support the varied trading needs of our customers, London Stock Exchange is introducing RFQ functionality for ETFs and ETPs traded on the SETS and ETF – Euroclear Bank Settlement trading services.
The new cleared RFQ functionality supports on Exchange execution of larger sized trades by institutional clients. The service is a private model and has been designed to protect order book liquidity by setting a minimum trade size.
