REQUEST FOR PROPOSALFOR END TERM EVALUATION OF THE GLOBAL FUND HIV GRANT

  1. Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) is the non-state principle recipient of the Global Fund HIV grant since December 2011. The KRCS grant focuses on increasing access to care and support for the chronically ill, prevention of mother to child transmission (PMTCT), community HIV testing and counselling (HTC), and prevention programs for adolescents and young people.
  1. Purpose of the project evaluation

Themain purpose for the evaluation is to conduct a systematic and methodological assessment of the program performance since 2012. This should include key outcomes and results of the interventions, trend analysis and evaluation of achievement against the performance framework indicators, specific objectives, analysis of factors contributing to performance and documentation of experiences, lessons learnt and human interest stories.

  1. KRCS is currently seeking for qualified and eligible consultancy firms to conduct an end-term evaluation of the HIV grant which has been implemented through implementing partners across 28 counties in Kenya.

Interested and qualifiedfirms are invited to inspect and download the bid documents free of charge from the Kenya Red CrossSociety website .Those who download the documents and intend to submit a proposal must forward their particulars to the tenders email address indicated on the website for recording and for the purpose of receiving any clarification and addenda.

And must be deposited in the Tender Box located at the Reception on the Ground Floor of the Kenya Red Cross Society Headquarters in South C, Red cross Road, off Popo Road, Nairobi on or before 12.00 noon on Tuesday5thSeptember 2017. Late submissions will not be accepted. Tenders will be opened immediately thereafter at the Society’s Headquarters on the same day in the presence of bidders and/or their representatives who choose to attend.
