Request for preventative maintenance of Laboratory Equipment

*VENDOR MUST SUBMIT WITH THEIR BID DOCUMENTATION STATING THAT THE VENDOR’S TECHNICIAN ARE QUALIFIED TO PERFORM PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE WORK ON THE PARTICULAR BRANDS AND MODELS STATED IN THE BID.

  1. Thermo Shandon Tissue Processor - MDL#:Excelsior ESS/N: EX39231109
  2. Preventative maintenance as required by manufacturer’s recommendation.
  3. Maintenance must include but is not limited to the following work
  4. Remove Chamber seals and replace.
  5. Inspect chamber for damage and leaks.
  6. Replace backup batteries.
  7. Perform Leak test.
  8. Perform Ports width test.
  9. Inspect lines for clogs.
  10. Clean Alcohol and xylene bottles.
  11. Inspect encoder disk.
  12. Run engineers test.

  20. Inspect pins on print head.
  21. Remove excess ribbon.
