REPROGRAPHICS ADMINISTRATOR

JOB DESCRIPTION

Grade:ISR 17 - 21

Responsible to: Administration Manager

Main Purpose of the Job:

  • To provide a high quality, efficient and effective reprographics support service.
  • Flexibility, initiative and a willingness to carry out a wide variety of administration and clerical roles will also be essential.

Main duties

  • To be responsible for all additional marketing material required by the Principal, SLT and Governing Body.
  • Provide a reprographics service to all staff as required, ie photocopying and collating documents to a high standard.
  • Be responsible for stock of paper, photocopier cartridges, etc.
  • Be responsible for organising routine maintenance and repairs for photocopiers. Be first point of contact for problems and queries with photocopiers.
  • Laminate documents for staff as requested.
  • Provide support to other members of the Administration Team as required.
  • Cover for absent colleagues as required.
  • Undertake other clerical duties as requested to meet the needs of the Academy.

4. / Undertake such duties as may be considered appropriate by the Principal and members of SLT in line with the needs of the Academy.
Continuing Professional Development - Personal
1. / In conjunction with your Line Manager and the Finance Director, take responsibility for personal professional development, keeping up to date with research and developments related to the efficient running of the Academy building, which may lead to improvements in the day-to-day running.
2. / Actively pursue own personal development and take full advantage of training provided.
3. / Maintain a professional portfolio of evidence to support the Performance Management process – evaluating and improving own practice.
4. / Participate in new initiatives and future changes in service delivery improvements to support the objectives of the Academy.

Reprographics Assistant - Person Specification

Specific skills, Experience and Knowledge / Essential / Desirable
Good level of general education, including GCSE Maths and English / 
Minimum 1 years experience of working in an administrative support role / 
Able to communicate with a wide range of personnel including parents, staff, students etc. / 
Excellent time management, administrative and organisation skills / 
Excellent IT skills / 
Able to use Sims.net / 
High level of literacy and ability to present information in a user friendly and logical format / 
Experience of working in the public sector, preferably education / 
Able to promote and market the Academy / 
Personal Qualities / Essential / Desirable
To demonstrate the ability to work accurately with attention to detail / 
To have a very flexible approach to the role and be willing to carry out a wide variety of administration and clerical tasks to meet the needs of the Academy. To accept that the job description will be updated and reviewed annually as the Academy grows / 
