Vacancy Control Report 1

Report Title:Vacancy Control Report 1 -- Borough/Community District Summary

Report Purpose:This is the first in a series of five reports that identify vacant FBH beds that are in the Vacancy Control System. This report provides an overview of resources in the specified borough and allows agencies and ACS to be able to monitor when beds are Vacant to facilitate placement. Temporarily Unavailable beds are not included in this report.

Background:The City of New York’s Administration of Children’s Services (ACS) requested the OCFS Data Warehouse develop a series of reports of Vacant beds to assist both them and their contract agencies to better manage their Foster Boarding Home Bed Resources. These are aggregate level reports and are currently only available to New York City ACS and their contract service providers.

User Prompts:Users are prompted to select from a drop down list of the five boroughs within New York City or Out of NYC (which will return reports broken down by County for those regular FBH’s outside of the city).

Layers:None. There are no drill downs available for this report.
