SPONSORSHIP, ADVERTISING AND EXHIBITION

PROSPECTUS

Conference details

The International Water Association (IWA) takes an active role in encouraging young professionals in the water industry through its Young Water Professionals (YWP) group. The IWA UK National Committee together with the support of various sponsors has developed during the last 17 years an affordable and attractive event for students and young professionals within the water sector.

The 18th edition of the IWA YWP Conference will be held in Bath in April 2017 with a bigger focus on breaking the boundaries of communication. The event will focus on delivering tools for cross-field engagement and career development for water professionals, not only with plenary presentation but also with interactive workshops and round-table discussions. We welcome representatives from water companies, regulators, contractors, supply chains and researchers with a young mind and spirit. Call for abstracts is open to anyone until 10 January 2017 (more info in go.bath.ac.uk/ywp). Prizes will be awarded for both presentations and posters.

The Conference offers sponsoring organisations the opportunity to become involved on a regular basis in a prestigious and cross-disciplinary event within the water sector. Sponsorship & exhibiting will allow organisationsto increase their company’s profile and gain brand awareness. The reasons to get involved are multiple, but examples are the exposure to about 200 delegates over 3 days, participation in career development, communication strategies and open discussions and refreshments served in the exhibition area allowing over 3 hours to network with key partners. Different sponsorship packages are available to ensure companies have an appropriate opportunity to support the development of YWP in UK.
