Repaso de Español – per. 8
I am giving you class time review for your Spanish exam. As you work on the review sheets, look up words you have forgotten. If you study as you go, the review will be productive for you. I will be available to help you with anything you do not understand. I expect you to remain on task and to work quietly. After you finish each review sheet, check and correct it with the answer keys, using a checking pen. You will receive a review grade for this material. Everyone starts with 100. I will spot check your work. Points will be deducted for not being on task, for not correcting your work, or for distracting other students.
Before you start the reviews, check to see if you have all necessary workbook pages. If you are missing any, you must download the workbooks to your computer and make copies of necessary pages. You will need pen or pencil and a checking pen.
v I will need to check your textbook for damages during this review time. Please bring it to class.
v You will turn in your workbooks, so that they will be here for next year. You may turn in the GP at the beginning of review week. Label both WB’s with your name clearly on front. PW may be turned in on Monday, June 2 or the day of your exam. If WB’s are not in good enough condition for next year, you will be required to purchase new ones at the start of the year.
The following is a suggested schedule of review. If you get behind, you will need to do some of the work at home. If you finish early, you may go on to another section. You may not work with another student. Check/correct each section (day) in red before going to the next section. Do not make check marks for each correct answer. One big check on the page if you missed nothing!
Time-saving strategies:
- Before you start a section, skim through the chapter. Look over the vocabulary at the end of the chapter.
- While you are working, your book should be open to the chapter you are reviewing.
- Always read the helpful notes next to each assignment. You might be given a shorter assignment!
Period 8: Because you have one day less than the other students, try not to get behind. We are giving you some options to shorten the review. You should have everything finished by the time you come to class on Friday, May 30, so that you can check it then. You might need to do some work at home. The answer keys will have work that you did not do. You might want to look over these pages. Your changes are in italics and underlined.

q Repaso Final Packet : This is a review of everything. Do as much of this as you can. Do half of each exercise on page5 and bottom ex. on page 6.
o Some of these exercises are adapted from a previous textbook and contain words you have not learned. I wrote them in English. These words will not be on the exam.
o Be sure to refer to the pages listed for reference above each exercise. Fill in any charts before doing the exercises. Read all notes on the page.
If you cannot finish all you want to review by Friday, you may work on it over the weekend, but you will not be able to check it. Just do the best you can!
