First Aid supplies are the responsibility of the RENTAL GROUP. Water is well water and is tested regularly and is usable, tastes best when refrigerated.

2. Cleaning: Rental groups must leave the buildings and grounds AS CLEAN OR CLEANER than they found them. Failure to do so will jeopardize future use of the camp by your group and you will be charged for cleaning. Cleaning supplies and equipment are provided. Follow the instructions included for clean up and closing of the camp. Please tell us ahead of time if you would rather pay the caretakers to clean.

3. Camper Supervision: We suggest the prescribed adult leader to camper ratios of the Alberta Camping Association be followed. Campers 6 years old or less-1 adult leader per 6 campers.

Illegal Drugs: Will result in your entire group being asked to leave and a damage fee being assessed and may jeopardize future use of the camp by the rental group. Your group will NOT be refunded.

Medications that are prescribed by a physician or over-the-counter remedies are permitted. For everyone's safety medications (including over-the-counter) should be in the original container, stored securely away from children and administered by an adult. Locked in cars seems to work.

7. Smoking: A NO SMOKING POLICY is in effect on site. Smokers must be of legal age and may only smoke with care at the fire pit area. Smoking in any other area including the lodge, cabins, washhouse, grounds, etc., will result in your entire group being asked to leave and a damage fee being assessed and may jeopardize future use of the camp by the rental group. Please record and report any items that require repair or servicing to the Camp Rental Agent/Caretaker.

10. Graffiti: There is zero tolerance for graffiti at Camp Wohelo. Graffiti will result in your entire group being asked to leave and a damage fee being assessed and may jeopardize future use of the camp by your group. Your group will NOT get a refund.

Many hours and dollars have been spent to restore to logs and to remove graffiti. The caretakers will do a walk through with you before and after your rental. If there is fresh damage and/or graffiti the rental group will lose the damage deposit. Please send a responsible person to do this.

11. Use of phone: The rental group is responsible for all phone calls made during the rental. Please use your cell phones, calling cards or make collect calls only.

12. Extra care: To help keep the rental fees low, turn off the lights off when not in use. Use the heaters to be comfortable, but lower the heat when away from the building/cabin and while sleeping. Ensure that taps are not dripping, it wastes the well water and the holding tanks will over-flow. Take home anything that can be recycled/returnable or leave in separate blue bags.

Please discuss any special request with us. We know that each individual group may have different needs and we want your time at Camp Wohelo to be safe and enjoyable.

It is the responsibility of the Contact person and the group Representative/s to educate the entire group on the rules, regulations and expectations set out in the Rental Agreement.
