Remote Classroom Access using Destir

Destir is a robot used to assist students when physically attending class is a barrier. Keep in mind, Destir is not to be used as a replacement for student attendance, but to assist on an as needed basis. Destir can be requested with at least 24 hours notice, however advanced notice is helpful. Before first use, it is important student meet with the Accommodations Specialist to ensure that Destir is an official accommodation. If student needs to use Destir for a long period of time we suggest checking to see if there is an online section available for the course in question.

  4. What is Destir freezes up during class? We suggest having designated student who sits around Destirforce reset the iPad and start the KUBI Video App. To Reset iPad hold the power and home button simultaneously until iPad restarts.
