E. H. S. SCHOOL ODE

Alma Mater to thee we raise

Our joyful voices in thy Hall

Thy dear name shall we always praise,

And on thy precepts ever call.

Dear school of love to thee we bring,

Our grateful tributes to thy light

Thy cherished fame shall ever reign,

In hearts of youth with love and might.

Thy name E. H. S. shall ever reign;

On Africa’s shore our native land.

Thy sons and daughters thee will serve;

In church and state a mighty hand

********Refrain*******

All hail, thrice hail Oh E. H. S.

To thee we shall for’er be true

Our colors white and blue we bless

And pledge our loyalty a might

E. H. S. SCHOOL PRAYER

Oh lord, who has set us here to do thy will,

Accept and sanctify our lives

By the inspiration of thy spirit.

Teach us to live together in love, joy and peace.

In our games, true sportsmanship,

And in our lives, perfect the good that has begun in us.

Give us the courage to preserve throughout

The days of our lives:

Through Jesus Christ our Lord,

Amen.

All Hail Liberia Hail, All Hail

All hail Liberia Hail, All Hail

This glorious Land of Liberty shall long be ours;

Though new her name green be her fame, and mighty be her power

Though new her name green be her fame, and mighty be her power

And mighty be her power,

And mighty be her power

In joy and gladness with our hearts united,

We shout the freedom of a race benighted.

Long live Liberia, happy land,

A home of glorious liberty by God’s command,

A home of glorious liberty by God’s command.

All Hail Liberia Hail, All Hail

All hail Liberia Hail, All Hail

In union strong success is sure, we cannot fail.

With God above our rights to prove we will over all prevail,

With God above our rights to prove we will over all prevail,

We will over all prevail,

We will over all prevail,

With hearts and hands our county’s cause defending,

We’ll meet the fore with valor unpretending.

Long live Liberia, happy land,

A home of glorious liberty by God’s command,

A home of glorious liberty by God’s command.
