Registering for online booking of appointments

Step 1 – Open your internet browser and visit

Step 2 – On the homepage you will see on the top left hand side a navigation list.

Place the mouse over Appointments and a sub menu will appear.

Move the mouse across and click the left button on Booking Online.

Alternatively on the webpage home screen click on the Patient Access icon on the left hand side Notice Board section.

Step 3 – On this page you will see the link: Link to online booking

Click the left mouse button on this link and you will be taken to the following page:

Step 4 – To register click on the Register button on the green left hand panel and follow the on screen instructions.

Once registered for online appointment booking please be aware of the following:

  • You will need to remember the Practice ID number, your Access ID number and your password. If you experience any problems logging on please contact the practice manager at Houston surgery on 01505613240.
  • You will be able to book appointments up to two weeks ahead.
  • Only those doctors with available appointments will be visible.
  • Appointments for the nursesare not available for booking online due to the varied length of appointments depending on the reason for the appointment.
  • Evening appointments at Bridge Of Weir on a Monday are not available to book online.These are designed for patients who are unable to attend the surgery during normal opening hours. Patients are seen by pre-booked appointment only and appointments are bookable up until the Friday of the previous week by telephoning or calling in at reception,
  • Access for children will be suspended when they reach the age of 16 for reasons of confidentiality. They will then be able to request new registration documents from the Houston surgery.
  • If for any reason you require to change the password you created when you first registered for this serviceyou can do this by phoning the practice manager.You will be asked to confirm your current details and the answer to your security question. If all are correct you will be given new details to reregister. If, however, you would prefer to do thisat your own convenience then new registration documents can be produced for collection.
